This year’s show invited guests into a surreal reimagining of everyday spaces— specifically, the intersection of fantasy and function that is a Southern California carwash. From medieval-inspired installations that merge with gas station architecture to sculptural works nestled among consumer goods in the convenience store, the show investigates how to turn the mundane into magic.
Featuring 11 visionary artists aged 16–23—from across Los Angeles—the work spans installation, sculpture, and performance, united by a shared spirit of experimentation and youthful imagination. The space itself becomes a medium, blurring the line between exhibition and environment.
